Brandon Perna breaks down why the Broncos should avoid AJ McCarron

Brandon Perna breaks down why Denver Broncos fans shouldn’t get too excited about free agent quarterback AJ McCarron.

After four years backing up Andy Dalton in Cincinnati, the Alabama alum will become an unrestricted free agent after winning his grievance against the Bengals over an injury designation in his rookie year.

McCarron, who has started just three NFL games, would have finished 2017 in Cleveland had the Browns front office not botched the trade paperwork.

The Broncos previously denied interest in McCarron, but that situation could change as he enters free agency with the Broncos still on the hunt for at least one quarterback.
