The Denver Broncos defeated the Indianapolis Colts 25-13 on TNF aka Thursday Night Football, aka the Color Rush Night, aka the Sky Cam Game.
The Broncos lost starting quarterback Trevor Siemian early to a shoulder injury, and the Colts had a major scare when tight end Brandon Williams was carted off the field with a neck injury. He has been released from the hospital with a concussion, but should be fine.
Jacoby Brissett rushed for an early touchdown, which was followed by an Adam Vinatieri field goal to give Indy a 10-0 lead.
Things looked bad for the Broncos with another missed field goal by Brandon McManus, and Siemian’s injury.
But then Brock Osweiler stormed the field like a stormtrooper, and rushed for a touchdown himself, threw two TDs to wide receiver Cody Latimer, and TE Jeff Heuerman, and also converted a two-point conversion.
The Broncos running game was strong. CJ Anderson finished the night with 158 yards, which was the same amount of passing yard for Jacoby Brissett.
