Week 11: Brandon Perna recaps Broncos’ latest defeat

Broncos beating themselves again

The Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Denver Broncos 20-17 in a pretty ugly game by both teams.

Did the Bengals win or did the Broncos beat themselves? Probably a little bit of both.

Shaquil Barrett started the game for the Broncos with a blocked punt, that the offense squandered when Brock Osweiler threw an interception to Dre Kirkpatrick in the endzone.

Dre took the ball back 95 yards before he fumbled when a ghost punched the ball out of his hands. Cincy recovered on the one yard line and Dalton finished the drive with a one-yard TD pass to tight end Tyler Kroft, Tomb Raider.

Bradley Roby struggled in coverage giving up two touchdowns on the evening, one to AJ Green and one to Alex Erickson.

Demaryius Thomas had both Denver touchdowns, and Brandon McManus nailed a 61-yard field goal that Marvin Lewis stopped with a stupid timeout. On the following attempt the kick was blocked.

A late fumble by Denver really ended their chances at winning the game.

The Los Angeles Chargers destroyed the Buffalo Bills today, and the Raiders and Chiefs both lost.

The Giants are now AFC West killers, and the Patriots win everywhere, including in Mexico.
