Week 11: Brandon Perna predicts Cincinnati Bengals vs Denver Broncos

The 3-6 Denver Broncos host the 3-6 Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday as both teams desperately need a win in order to remain somewhat competitive for the remainder of the season.

Brock Osweiler will make his 3rd start at the quarterback position for the Broncos, and hopefully find his first victory with the team since 2015.

Andy Dalton will continue to start ahead of AJ McCarron, the QB every other bad team in the NFL wants. Hopefully AJ Green tries to fight corner Aqib Talib like he did with Jalen Ramsey two weeks ago. I don’t think Green would have similar success against Talib.

The Bengals have issues all over the offensive side of the ball. Joe Mixon and the rush attack is scaring no-one, the line is bad, and Tyler Eifert is done with yet another injury.

The Broncos run the ball effectively with CJ Anderson, who has been great, but only gets about 10 carries a game.

Punt returner Isaiah McKenzie was benched after he had another fumble against the New England Patriots. Jordan Taylor will take over that role.

Emmanuel Sanders owned Malcolm Butler last week, and he could do the same against teh Bengals secondary. Adam Jones is out with a concussion, and star rookie corner William Jackson has some sort of toe injury.

Maybe Demaryius Thomas will have a game as he’s been quiet lately, and edge rushers Von Miller, Shane Ray, and Shaq Barrett must take advantage of a line that has struggled to protect its QB this season.

The Broncos will have the same challenge with Geno Atkins, Carlos Dunlap, and Carl Lawson.
