Patriots at Broncos Week 10: 3 Things to Watch

Almost game time!
Broncos Europe’s Andrew Lewis looks at the key elements of Sunday’s game in Denver.

FYTB

There are many players in the NFL I don’t like: this is the nature of rivalries. But for many of these players, I respect them, I respect them for there talent and I respect them for the success they’ve had in their career. I do not respect Tom Brady. I do not like Tom Brady. And neither should you. Denver is the only team in the NFL which Tom Brady has a losing record against and in Denver he is 3-7 (.300). Since 2011 no player has sacked Brady more than Von Miller. To win on Sunday Von and his friends will have to beat up on Tom.

Stopping the Patriots running backs

The Patriots will not be able to run on the Broncos. However what should worry Broncos fans is the Patriots ability to get their running backs into space and 1-1 with the Broncos safeties and linebackers. The Patriots can pick their poison in the passing game whether it’s James White, Dion Lewis or Rex Burkhead the defence has a challenge on their hands come Sunday night.

Can Brock Osweiler make magic happen again?

We all remember that magical night in the snow. For me that is second only to Superbowl 50 in the most enjoyable wins I’ve watched as a fan. The playmakers on offence remain the same so why can’t Denver repeat? Brock Osweiler will have to play the best game of his career and CAN NOT turn the ball over. Despite some improvement the Pariots defence is one of the worst in the NFL and lacks any real players, the Broncos have made bad defences look great so far this season. Let’s hope that changes tonight.

Prediction

Call me an optimist but I think the Broncos can win on Sunday night. Everything points to an easy New England win but coming off a four game losing streak maybe just maybe we’ll see some Mile High Magic

Final Prediction: Patriots 23 – Broncos 24
